saving living beings

saving living beings feels wonderful. . .
more so than maybe anything else. .
i at least have faith that it could be so,
but at the very least, i can say it feels very, very wonderful.
it's not even important whether this particular one lives a day, or a week or its full natural life-span. .
i'm talking about little critters primarily here. . .
and saving them is like - giving them a new home where they can live, if their current home is not very tenable. .
tad-poles and small frogs especially fit this bill. . .
a while ago i saved maybe 3-4 hundred tadpoles, they were in a very small pool, and it was drying up so i took as many as i could to a pond. . .
and that was nice. . . felt while walking, very in harmony with the situation.

but what really got it for me today was carrying a baby frog. . . i just felt it, suddenly. . .
i cannot express it but i wished to attempt to share it anyway. .
one of the most wonderful things i have ever felt, if not the most so -
definitely it's worth checking out and exploring.

I collect reptiles. Thats my other hobby. It started when I was 14. My buddy a corn snake and was not keeping good care of it. Very malnourished. Anyway now I have 22 snakes and pair of bearded dragons and a pair of leopard geckos. Most of the snakes have been taken in from vets or shelters in poor condition. Its nice caring for things most people wouldn't bother with.
-------------------- Alright then, picture this if you will: 10 to 2 AM, X, Yogi DMT, and a box of Krispy Kremes, in my "need to know" post, just outside of Area 51. Contemplating the whole "chosen people" thing with just a flaming stealth banana split the sky like one would hope but never really expect to see in a place like this. Cutting right angle donuts on a dime and stopping right at my Birkenstocks, and me yelping... Holy fucking shit!

That is very cool, snakes are considered very sacred in some places, for instance Cambodia. In others they are considered very close to Mother earth and also very protective. I have much more to say but will stay quiet thank so much for that beautiful post.
(Staying quiet is something we can learn from snakes )

Definitely a great feeling!
A few weeks back I heard a big commotion and yelling in the back of my apartment building. I went outside to find these piece of shit kids literally torturing a cat. I yelled so bad at those fucking kids and picked the cat up and took her inside.
She's extremely nice, very friendly and it was terrible what those assholes were doing. Highly considering keeping her but she seems domesticated so trying to find out who the owner is. No tags or collar.
It made me so angry when I saw what those kids were doing. Probably would have killed her if I didn't stop them.

that is wonderful that you were there to intervene;
reminds me of something about cause and effect, hehe.
a follow up of my own story - I got to see some of them grow up.
have a wonderful day

i try to keep ready to help out things all the time. i usually carry a couple of those small ketchup type packets of honey you get from food places, a few of those little paper packets of sugar, and a bottle of water. honey and sugar to feed things like bees, wasps, ants and whatever else will eat it. water for me of course but also like to leave little tiny puddles here and there so there's like rest stations for bugs, also so i can rub water on worms that try to cross the sidewalk and such when it's hot when i move them to shaded grass to up their chances of surviving, for frogs and toads and such also. it ruins a good chunk of my day if i come across something that needs help and i'm not prepared to or capable of it lol

that is very uplifting to see, dear friend
while walking the first time, i felt quite happy about it,
as if i am walking in flow with the tao,
and carried them to their new home and now,
sometimes i see one and know may be one i brought,
other times i just see them.
lately i have noticed - there are two kinds of frogs here common,
one group is more docile - the species with stripes, a little less;
they are more difficult to carry, and it may cause a some stress;
the first kind i noticed, they are brown w/ out stripes,
one beautiful thing i noticed is when i get there, open my hand,
and release them, then they remain still on the open hand. . .
it is a wonderful experience.

also, before i walk them to the pool,
i get them a little wet, as is important for them to be.

today it was just one frog, a baby one, in the middle of the path.
i wasn't sure if he was alive or dead, not moving,
but he was alive, and so i took him to the water;
it was special to me, because he was right there.
love and peace to all beings.
may all beings be happy, may all beings be at peace, may all beings have good health.
happiness is a warm sun, Amma

I've recently befriended the cutest little mouse that lives out the back of my house, i first saw it while i was tripping pretty hard and felt so much compassion towards it, i wanted to look after it in anyway i possibly could... it triggered a huge release for me where i ended up crying from the depths of my soul for every being existence, it thinned out my consciousness to the point i was there for everything all at the same time as the loving universal presence, a real breakthrough experience for me
I've since been feeding the lil fella every night and he no longer runs away when i'm near, i think he's grokked that i'm the one feeding him so not looking to caue him any harm
While doing the best i can to nurture this tiny fragile creature i also have to let nature run its course, i've seen my cat on the prowl stalking him quite a few times...
