far out global warming solutions, even pseudoscience?
    #21828771 - 06/19/15 04:06 PM (8 years, 7 months ago)

-astral networking upon a sun first hierarchy to sustain long term infrastructural stability on selfless MO to keep it going,
teaching those too poor to make it to the submarines
How to enclose Fema Camps if a canoe is good enough.

-downloading the human mind into miniaturized computers to achieve conscious immortality in a solar powered below ocean device.

-ice cap cooling, sea floor electronics?

A thread in promotion of ideas and existant science to combat global warming at the prospect of a global flood.

Brief snippets on everything,
Least to most likely ideas to solve global warming.

-How to survive off a canoe, sea food, and salt water purification without electricity?

The types of ideas likely to arise from brainstorming in Amsterdam.

Not just one global warming topic.

-Storing sea water above and below crust as it floods.

-Contacting Buddha aliens first so not randomly hostile.

-Green friendly sea bottom housing.

Ok....

You realize that if all the ice caps and glaciers melted it would only raise the sea level 200-300 feet? We would lose some good farmland and probably have an overcrowding problem...but it wouldnt be like that move Waterworld or anything.

How to liberate science and society from fascist climate change doomsday nutters is a more pressing concern.

They don't say Global Warming any more, its Climate Change and its all bullshit.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2415191/And-global-COOLING-Return-Arctic-ice-cap-grows-29-year.html

Allot of politicians greedily inventing doomsday taxes and squandering taxes on lavish climate change holidays is what it's all about. I think we even have a minister of climate change.

Climate change is natural, not man made. Higher levels of Co2 are good for feeding human kind. All doomsday theories are bullshit. In all of history the world has not ended. Climate science is destroying science. It's being run by corrupt control freaks and detractors are being silenced by force, there is no real actual climate science allowed. Not all climate change is bullshit, but all man made climate change that we should all panic about is bullshit. 2 pointers, the Main Stream Media promote it and The Pope promotes it. Definitely bullshit.

You should read this book, it will help you not look like such a fool.

http://www.wiley.com/WileyCDA/WileyTitle/productCd-EHEP002774.html

Climate change is a complex issue with many causes, numerous of which are influenced by humans.  A very obvious example of one way we have influenced the environment negatively is the Pacific Gyre Garbage patch.

Yeah, you should probably read up before making such accusations and making such basic statements about the relationship of CO2 on humans. You seem to not realize that CO2 does help agriculture only when all other variables are unchanged. If the temperature/weather patterns change significantly, then plants won't be able to take advantage of the CO2 as you claim. Additionally, all of earth's deep historical climate data is based off of a fairly well distributed mix of species. The advent of agriculture and technologically inflated populations of highly dependant species means that the global system as we know it is stretched pretty tightly, and thus highly susceptible to major reactions resulting from a change in the climate. Given this, it is rather foolish to base your argument solely on deep historical climate data and the ability of simpler organisms to survive. This is no longer applicable for the only source of information on climate change, the variables have changed, and we have changed them.

Will it be The Day After Tomorrow? Of course not, thats insane. But claiming that it's just not happening or that we play no major role in it is preposterous.
