Is sleep deprivation a similar experience to a psychedelic trip?

I was thinking about sleep depriving myself for a few days, but I don't know if it is worth it, as I don't fully know what the effects will be like. Will it by any chance have any resemblance to a psychedelic trip?

If you think hearing noises and seeing shadows in the corner of your eye all while being incredibly disoriented is a psychedelic trip, go for it.
Other than that it should be incredibly unpleasant

sleep deprivation can be psychedelic but not really in a visual aspect, stay up for 3 days and youll see what i mean like the above poster said its more of a peripheral thing and disorientating but why not just take say 300 mgs of dxm for a nearly psychedelic headspace that will exceed that of staying up for three days

It's more dissociative, not fun. (sleep deprivation).
-------------------- I give you the choice of 2 pills.
With each containing one of the following: Cyanide... Psilocin... Would you take the risk? Didn't think so. This is why Positive Identification prior to consumption is important.

Uh dxm is a lot of fun and many people enjoy it it can be a great stepping stone into psychedelics regardless of being a dissociative it provides a similar headspace to prepare oneself for hallucinations ands other visuals.
