My first casint attempt....contaminated!! (pix)

This is my first casing attempt. I have kept the temps 80-85degF. Im not sure how the case is supposed to look.
I have 3 containers that look like this. Are they OK? Is the grey stuff growing along with the mycelium supposed to be there?
I was told this is cobweb mold. If so what causes this? Too much moisture? Too high of a temp? Casing mix not sterile? How can I prevent this in the future?

Looks like good healthy mycelium to me. You may have let it incubate a wee bit too long. I'd fruit that sucker now ASAP.

How long should it incubate after casing?
What are some clues to tell me when to fruit them?
I dunked the cakes before casing. Was that a good idea?

It could be the pic, but the casing looks good and although you have situation of overlay, this should not be a problem to make it fruit. Cobweb mold is mostly caused by high humidity and stalled air, so you should change this situation if it's occurring.

5 days, casing covered but with some holes for breathing and at the same incubating temperature. After that period, uncover and put inside the terrarium.

Right after the 5 day incubation period, when you put them inside the terrarium. There's a temperature decrease (25-30?C), increase in light and a 80-90% Rh, these are needed parameters for pinning. After pinning, just fan more.

It might prove being irrelevant in casings but it's an overall good idea.
