Casings stalled or contaminated? fruiting bodies there with pins but growing slow
    #21827038 - 06/19/15 07:46 AM (8 years, 7 months ago)

I see, on the 2nd flush, its been a week and all these fruiting bodies of various sizes seem to be growing extremely slower than the 1st flush - the largest never opened up - is this a contamination? I took the casing out to see all the little pins/little fb's and it smelled nice like it must have gotten dry or something is my guess - I'm fanning every 3 hours about, sometimes forgetting for 12 hours

How dry is your substrate? Upload a pic for more answers!

Are you misting the substrate before your regular fanning sessions?
This will cause evaporation off the casing layer triggering more pins to form.

Upload a picture so any contaminates can be identified.

I beleive it was maybe 4 days I didn't mist and may have stalled the process... maybe its just done because it got too dry
