Should I go back for these??
    #21826908 - 06/19/15 06:51 AM (8 years, 7 months ago)

I found these on a walk the other day. It was rainy and quite dark, but I found a small group of them beginning to grow. Im not very experienced in identifying active mushrooms (to put it lightly), so I really have no idea but they look as if they could be. Worth returning?

Habitat:
Mountain forest, in some deadwood and pine needles dropped from trees.

Gills:
Darm brown in color.

Stem:
long in comparison to the size of the cap. Kind of slimey, light coloured.

Cap:
Small concave cap, deep brown and quite reflective.

Spore print color:
I will do a spore print if you think its worth doing.

Bruising:
Not noticed any, but I didnt give it a good pinch.

I think it might be Protostropharia semiglobata. Not active.

Not a Protostropharia sp., most likely Psathyrella.

I have gotten the subtle impression that striations are an indicator of "better luck next time."
