The Internet is both a public and a private place. It requires of us that we explore the issues of privacy and ethics. It also requires us to come to grips with the fact that we're all human beings and that we can be classy and slutty at the same time. I cherish the people who understand this and challenge everyone who doesn't to at least accept us for what we are, or better yet, accept themselves as they could be - healthy, virtuous and promiscuous human beings.
Like that post, forward it to everyone, contribute to the debate and make the morons understand things just a little bit better!

I have a lot of issue with this new brand of feminism, and I don't really know how I feel about it yet. I remember feminism as being "women are equal! they get equal rights, equal say, equal pay, facilities, etc". It doesn't seem to be that simplistic any more. New feminism is saying "not only is equality mandated, but we're demanding the immediate and absolute abolishment of these seventy-eight (arbitrary number) things that have come to exist through the social evolution of mankind, through the natural reactions to our actions, immediately." Noncompliance or verbal fumble results in public shaming, loss of career, etc.
I think the new feminism is a bit militant. Society is already progressing, their dissatisfaction with the rate of positive change is in fact slowing their cause, as it causes people to disengage from the conversation (for fear of being labeled sexist or racist, etc) - and engagement is the key to understanding.

the whole thing is so toxic, i just stay the fuck away.

Uhm, I don't see this as feminism really. If you send someone some nude selfies in a private conversation, it's a matter of decency that they aren't forwarded to the rest of the world. It doesn't matter if you're a man or a woman, although it happens to women a lot more - or at least those pics sometimes make it to the news, while the men rarely do. Like I said, it's a matter of decency to keep private things private; doesn't have anything to do with feminism.

She is actually just upset at the sunrise people for saying "when will women learn" because she views it as an excuse for certain behaviors.

So much this.
Personally I think taking nudies or filming during sex is a huge turn on.. but I refuse to take part in it (or watch it once, then delete it) because nobody respects privacy. If it's on a device then people treat it like public property. Or revenge porn? Revenge porn is a thing. A pure fuckin' evil thing.
This is something I would like to see change.. but it won't until the majority of people feel the same way.

ironically, it's quite the opposite.
female nudes are everywhere, and dont make it to the news. male nudes do make it to the news, because the males are often politicans or industry leaders. we see those all the time (Wiener's wiener)

I think there's a deeper truth here that a lot of people are missing out on, and that is, people share secrets and always have. If you think for one second that your girl's best friend doesn't know every dark kinky fucked up secret you have, well...
Fucking liberals.
"I should be able to do whatever the fuck I want and YOU are responsible for the consequences of my actions, not me!"
I'm so sick of people who think if you jump off a cliff it is the ground's responsibility to get the fuck out of the way.
If you let someone take nudes of you, you better be okay with everyone in the world seeing them, or at least not date shitbird guys who will do something with those pics when he catches you blowing his roommate.
