Gymnopilus Sp. ? NSW ID RFQUEST
    #21826012 - 06/18/15 10:55 PM (8 years, 7 months ago)

Hi everone!
My english is pretty bad so thanks for being indulgent, i'm doing my best!
Sorry; no pic of habitat! Mushroom on the picture is also in a pretty bad condition.

Habitat:
We found them in a pine tree forest in New South Wales, Australia, close to the blue mountains. It was on the ground, many wood chips around.
It's been raining for two days before the day we picked them. It was sunny in the morning this day, then the wheather turned grey and wet.

Stem:
Orange stem, around 4-7cm
Stem bruises blue at the bottom of it.

Cap :
Very big cap around 8cm. Shape as you can see, very large and round. The cap is blue/green on the sides of the top.

Spore print :
I don't have them with me right now and didn't know how to make a spore print as i'm a beginner!

Bruising:
Many of them where already blue even before we picked them! and after picking some of them turned very very very very blue/green!

Other information:
Smells like wet; and mushroom. Texture is very wet and viscous!
