Typical bacteria or something else?
    #21823917 - 06/18/15 02:34 PM (8 years, 7 months ago)

I have had very good luck with my spawn. Culture to agar, agar to grain, G2G.

I am working with a new clone culture (cubensis: Orissa india) and have recently switched to whole oats from rye. (on my 2nd 50 lb. oat bag)

anyway,  the last G2G isn't looking good.  the mycelia slowed way down like it was competing with bacteria ... looks that way too.

now, I'm noticing 'growth'. does it look like normal bacteria? or something else?

it doesn't smell funky bacteria like. smells kind of 'nutty'.
