Anyone ever feel better after a bad trip?

I've had 2 or three bad trips total, one I can only describe as literal hell. I've read people coming on here and saying they've been messed up for a few days/weeks/months following a bad trip, but every time I get one, it seems to be the complete opposite.
While I can't say I necessarily enjoyed what happened during the trip, once I come out of it, it's almost like I feel reborn, so refreshed, calm, at peace, like I've never been so comfortable being me before. Anyone else find you feel amazing after a bad trip, instead of letting it get to you for a while?

The more I suffer on a trip due to my insecurities, past trauma etc, the less that shit bothers me after the trip, as though I'm purging these emotional stresses. I even kinda thought that was half the purpose of tripping, the other half being for recreational purposes

I can definitively relate to the experience your describing. I have almost exclusively bad trips (i have trouble letting go)and because of this people always ask me why i keep tripping. I keep tripping because a difficult experience isn't necessarily a bad thing, in fact they can be the most beneficial learning experiences. After a hellishly intense trip you feel this incredible sensation of peace and clarity. Your gratitude of life is multiplied and this can change your entire life's perspective.
At least that's my experience, i respect any other experiences.

When I come out of a bad trip I am so grateful to be back in this dense reality and that no phones, computers or doors have been used during that time.

makes me think how fucking amazing just feeling okay can be
-------------------- But if you're in a hurry, and really got to go If you're in a hurry, might have to find out slow That it's one thing to try and another to fly You get there quicker just a step at a time It's one thing to bark, another to bite The show ain't over till you pack up at night

I've only ever had a "bad" trip once, and even though it was only mildly bad. It did leave quite a bit of bad feelings about myself for a week until I had another trip and it brought it to a complete circle.
But I have had many difficult experiences. Not truly terrifying or scarring, but emotionally or psychologically straining. After such a thing, I always feel such a strong bliss. Just from coming out of it, or realizing how amazing/important things are.
You just gotta go through hell sometimes before you reach heaven.

had a bad trip once because I broke a rule and tripped when I was with someone I REALLY!!!!! do not like and through the trip I was in a cold ass basement during a miv=chigan winter and I was laying on a half deflated air mattress and the kid told me right as I started tripping that he wanted to punch me in the face for dropping out of school. threw me into a bad trip and I made my self kind of sleep after it became a bit much. woke up still trippin but I felt INCREDIBLY better waking up tripping and rob dyrdeks fantasy factory was on (I don't really like that guy) he was marrying his sister and I thought he was REALLY marrying his sister and was very confused he was in a priest out fit and then I realized he was just marrying his sister and he fiancé.
there was a rainbow vision coming off the tv and for a second I thought rob dyrdek was god for a brief moment.
that was a strange trip also had cevs of a painting in a dark cold basement.
bad trips can have the most learning experiences.
I never talked to that kid again and never will.
