hello
i have a few jars inoculated with spores from cubensis AA+. they all is is allmost at 100 % but i noticed there is a little differents between my golden teacher jars and the a+.
the a+ myc seems to be a little more transparent then other varerities/strains i have been working with.is the A+ different lookking a little bit like cobweb molds color.
if anyone have or can point me i a direction of where find a picture of a 100% colinized jar it would be a huge help.
peace, BOB

It's always just looked like Cubensis myc to me.

Yeah, different strains (not varieties like B+ or GT or AA+ but actual strains where 2 hyphae have met and formed clamp connections) will look different. You can't predict what it'll look like from MS, and it'll change depending on what it's on, temps, and sometimes for no good reason at all. As long as it's in the range of normal it's fine.

My two "varieties" do look different. One is more rhizo and the other is maybe half fluffy half rhizo, and generally looks whiter. The former's looks a bit greyer in that it seems to fully colonize at lower density (less fluff between rhizos.)
Either can look gray when initially germinating, but should look whitish in short order. If you don't see some spherical looking rhizo growth reaching into uncolonized grain, I'd be concerned.
It is true that technical strains/genetic individuals are the only way to definitively say what the growth will look like in similar conditions, but "varieties"/commonspeak strains do have propensities.

I spawned some popcorn casings and had double-overlay cause I didn't put enough hydrogen peroxide in my automated aquarium mister. I only got one mushroom so I cut off the head part where the seeds fall from and put it in a jar of LC and sprayed it all over a tin of PF cakes I made with gravel, cardboard, and bisquick in my microwave. I think it will be good cause B+ is so potent. Triggered yet? Only a square would say "a cube is a cube."
No, this does not look right...
