I would post a picture of mine, but it looks the same. Just super god damn fluffy. I might stick it in front of the fan and take out some of the polyfill today

I did not, I have the lid cracked open with the fan on it right now. It's very wet in there.

oh by the way, that picture was taken prior to the polyfil being added to the holes. it now has polyfil in all holes for fruiting.

Thought you were using the magnets to hold your filters in place (ironed poly) Thanks for elaborating/setting me straight tho,

oh, no. the magnets were for incubation and then polyfil was stuffed in at fruiting.
ive used those filters before. they worked great. but were difficult for me to make. so back to polyfil. its easy enough to stuff some poly in the hole. i tried making those filters several times but for some reason i could never get past the 2 ply thickness. the rolled polyfil sheet i had just would not stick thicker than 2 ply no matter how much ironing i did. and the 2 ply didn't work very well.
i was able to make 4 filters with the 4 ply and they did work well. but it was a very difficult task.
for one tub, its good. but making that many for multiple tubs would be manual labor. it seriously took me 3 hours to make 4 workable filters.
it could have been that the poly sheet i was using was too thick or something. i don't really know. but my arms got tired and i broke a sweat making them.

Jaja I've never tried to "press" my own filters. My tubs are fairly dialed, so figured "why fix what isn't broken"
Sheets? I buy my poly from hobby lobby, Michael's or wally world. ..comes in a bag.. Looks like the stuff you'd pull out a teddy bear..??? (srry im not build-a-bear savvy)

Temps are fine.
yea, I hydrated 10 quarts of spawn before I mixed it in. I figured the extra water will go a long ways with 11 quarts of spawn. Everything is looking much better now that the mycelium on top of the castles has defuzzed a bit and laid down. It might just need a lot more FAE than I am used to dealing with.
