So speaking of perpetuating genetics, has anyone ever had the intuition, that psilosibin mushrooms have found an evolutionary niche, where they affect our minds so much, that they guarantee their own genetic survival? Maybe they're the intelligent species in this arrangement.
Something I thought about the other night. Ohh well. Carry on

munch. nice flushes. well, i haven't had much time to look that closely lol so no. ive got the strangest growth on an ape tub right now. they look like normal fruits. and they are clustering. very spongy when dry like ape. almost shmooshy even when bone dry.

it will slow down at fruiting though. its lightning fast on the plates and grain but it does fruit a little slower.
You ain't kidding. This myc is a beast. Just spawning so will see about fruiting times, but yeah it overtakes jars very quickly

Interesting.. I see your tubs here show the same kind of heavy rhizo/aerial myc growth as my tubs. All of my current tubs have this same kind of growth, it looks really crazy when it first pops up

Yep.. really loving them so far. Several of my shoeboxes seem to be developing a bunch of aborts & small fruits, but I think its my fault somewhere. The pinsets were excellent and I was preparing for some excellent canopies, and I'm sure it will be there soon enough with future tubs. I've grown several different varieties and even though this is my first batch of Stro they seem special with the myc growth particularly. Looking forward to continuing with this variety...

And some of the shoeboxes with great pinsets but developing small fruits & pointy caps on many (its more pronounced now than when i took these photos):
