orange/red spots

so ive seen these orangeish spots in a couple jars, some jars have healthy myc spots started some dont, and a couple dont have the spots... does anyone have any idea about these?

well some of them seem to b colonizing just fine,  so I think I'll wait on those. was just curious if anyone has seen this in their first own grain jars

:whathesaid: looks very yeasty. Those dots everywhere is yeast/what we suspect to be yeast. If your other jars aren't covered in those dots, you should be fine

Yeah I've dealt with yeast infection a few times. It's pretty easy to spot, visually. I actually used spawn that colonized over the yeast in the past with success, but the infections were always pretty minor compared to what you're dealing with.

All the yeast I have seen thus far, has been overrun by cubes myc. Without effort.
Its the stuff that comes along what you should be worried about. If you find yeast, there is probably something else in there too.

I've never seen more than one contaminant in any of my jars at a time, but I get your point.
