Woodland mushroom find! PA
    #21816495 - 06/16/15 08:27 PM (8 years, 7 months ago)

Found these pretty cool looking mushrooms in NE Pa in the deep woods growing under some shrubs with decaying leaf matter and decaying pieces of wood, sticks, chunks of wood.

They have a somewhat tough stem and the stem is waving at places. Saw a little bluing at the base of the stem!

And this is a toxic variety? I've heard some of them in that species are also hallucinogenic but not toxic. Not sure if they grow around here but I thought I'd ask. Trying to put a little book together with spore prints pictures and dried mushroom.

These are not hallucinogenic and are, like I said, likely toxic
