Me being given a paranoid s. label has made it so I am in an S.I.L. program.  Keeps me glad in keeping me from having to be bad things on the list.

I'm on s.s.i. and foodstamps.

S.I.L. programs place U in a nice apt of your liking as a co-tenant. And rent is major less when in an S.I.L. program. To qualify for an S.I.L. program U have to 1st go live in a group home for about 1 year and have activated s.s.i. U can get s.s.i. activated VIA being diagnosed w/ a minor or severe mental illness. Local psych wards keep u only for 3-7 days... Is such place where U get a label and figure which med works for U better.

I find that a simple label can hook U up for life. I sure know.

I come from a home that most people would have abhored. (Needless to say poleople don't take care of what's not theirs.) Broken is an understatement.  I'd say it has far less to do with nurture and far more to do with the nature of the person on question.  It's a cop-out to blame somebodies upbringing for their actions later on in life...

Yep I think I got into drugs as my youngest 2 were too young to remember. My brother was a toddler and my sister was still a baby in the crib. My sister is 3 years younger but I protected her from it. I was the one taking the brunt of the psychological damage. I've witnessed a lot.

Every holiday mom and dad would get drunk. Dad would hit mom. One christmas my dad knocked over our christmas tree and my parents had bought us something to put some kind of rodent in. That was shattered with my moms face. As he pushed her face first into it. It was a big glass case. Then the cops searched the house and found my dads huge marijuana grow. and yet my mom still defended him always. It's who I learned how to lie to cops from. It's sad. But such is life. I guess.

Plus at the time after we were on the verge of being wealthy. I was running fliers door to door and doing the hauling of buckets of 5 lb buckets of seal coat while my dad did the easy work. Going from doing 200 dollar jobs to 14k in 2 day jobs.

But my dad decided to become a crack head and throw everything away. Now he has nothing. we were on the verge of taking a business from the ground up to paying people to do it. By rights and my knowledge from literally being at and doing every job I should have been the one leading it at this point. I would be wealthy. He threw away everything we had worked for for what? Nothing.

I could go on and on. But I always protected my siblings and my sister the one I knew would remember. I don't think about it much anymore but I know it's there and I think it's why because I'm the one that witnessed it all.

Oh well what could have been. Lived in this big beautiful house to poverty and my dad runs off and leaves my mom with nothing. Even sold the cabin I helped build from the foundation to the 2nd level. Did everything from wiring, flooring, framing, insulating, I could literally build a house right now. Sold it behind our backs and the land it was on. To make himself 5000 when it was worth at least 60k. The little inheritance we would have had after all this. Fucking sad human being. Crack is a hell of a drug I guess.

I had a broken home. Grew up watching my dad beat the shit out of my ma until I was like 14. Once I ran into the bathroom and hit him over the head with a frying pan crying as he's beating her into the bath tub. She couldn't work for 2 months her eyes were so black and she wouldn't leave the house. He finally left 8 years ago. So she raised us on her own working 2 jobs in a 2 bed room apartment.

But I fucked up but am doing pretty damn decent for myself. Work full time. Got my own spot. Graduated high school with honors. Went to college for a year but only took a few classes to learn a couple things I wanted to know. Never had any intention of graduating.

My 21 year old sister is going to college for chemistry at a 40k a year school for free. Spent a year abroad in Brazil and last summer spent a month in peru. Speaks fluent portuguese and spanish.

My 16 year old brother is being fast tracked to college. Starts it next year. One of the smartest kids I know.

My 13 year old sister is in all honors classes in jr. high. Plays in jazz and classical band. Plays 5 instruments and is a fantastic singer. Plays volleyball and soccer as well.

My family is doing pretty damn good i'm really excited to watch where my siblings are going in this world.

How does it feel to be the family loser?

Define "broken home." That's a really vague term that could apply to anything from simple divorce to hostile parents to flat out abuse.

Anyway, both of those things probably apply to me, and I didn't end up being any of the things on that list.
