metabolites???
    #21816309 - 06/16/15 07:52 PM (8 years, 7 months ago)

Noticed this in one of my jars which I removed to a different room just to be safe. There isn't a sour smell, and the spots are a brown/golden hue.

Thoughts?

Whenever I have grains that look wet like that and are not colonized, it's bacterial. ..

It's hard to tell from those pics.  Is that rice?  I think I see some metabolites on the bottom of the jar. But the brown spots are just grains are stuck against the jar (which is no big deal).

How did you prep it?

(Yes, the egg is real)

It's rgs, boiled for 25 mins, strained and loaded into PC and cooked for 55 mins. Did innoc in sab. Yes some of the dark spots is just seed but the picture of the bottom is what made me ask, because I wasn't sure.

if it's RGS and not rye berries it looks fine.
