That is a crazy pinset! What strain and sub is it?

Got a few blobs coming in. Colonization was a bit weak compared to my lucidium but I might do some culture work with it to get some vigor going. Possible that its maybe a bit more picky in regards to substrate composition.

I just started a wild specimen on agar thanks to the success I saw with Bods grow. Hopefully it goes well!
Also, great looking tubs man!

Well Jake I nearly forgot about this thread. The tub spawned in open air succumbed to bacteria and I tossed it. But as you know I did do some that I colonized invitro in bottles, they seem to be doing far better. The antlers I did get on the tub were pretty sweet tho, black and brown in color

Those look awesome Pasty! Have you thought about casing one or two of the bottles to test if they like a casing?

Yeah I did consider it. I still might, I have some coir right now that I could try it with.

Thanks eat. I actually put the lids back on them ajar to keep a nice microclimate going for them. Let them blobs get established. Gonna toss a little coir to late case a couple of them as well. See how it does. All I am really hoping for from this grow is some cleanish spores to play with.

No. But muda did some cased ganoderma (forget what species) anf they did really good. I never cased lucidum.cause its so aggressive i figured it would just blow through it. But these are not nearly as fast. Got some blobs already forming so it might just keep the early stage fruits moist via casing and let them get a nice jump once they hit the FAE.

The bottles I cased were Resinaceum. I opened them up right away at 100% colonisation but kept the holes sealed on the monos I was fruiting in until the pin set was well established.

Well I never got to casing these but they seem to be doing better than the mono attempt. 2 don't look that great and one needs a scratch but I have enough fruit bodies forming that I am quite hopeful that I can get some spores and some harvest.
