The War on Terrorism
    #2181601 - 12/16/03 04:23 AM (13 years, 7 months ago)

So I was thinking about this, btw I'm really stoned now, but still had some ideas about the war on terrorism. In the light of capturing Saddam Hussein recently and realizing that the US has just successfully captures someone that had nothing significant to do with 9-11. And essentially, he was the main goal of the war on Terror: to get rid of him.

Well, the war on terror obviously came from 9-11. In a sense I feel like the Bush administration knew that they would likely not be able to defeat a single terrorist group, because of hte nature of terrorism, so they declared this vague "war on terrorism" which basically gave them the power to do things they wanted to do. I guess those things may have something to do with terrorism, but it is still a lofty task. Unfortunately america took the bait and and declared the war that I think most terrorists WANT. Honestly think about it, I think terrorists would much rather be in a state of war than not war. I have all these thoughts in my head as to why but too stoned to articulate them, but think about it I guess.

So that's all...uh yeah ur thoughts anyone?
