And you wonder why people hate Bush.

No, I'm aware it's because he doesn't do what they wish he would do.

Still, get used to him. And the Republican to follow.

Of course... by then Ashcroft may have staged a coup!

You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. What one person receives without working for another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for that my dear friend is the beginning of the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it. ~ Adrian Rogers

Believe me - I'm prepared for 4 more years of Bush. 2008 is a little far off to make any estimation of, though. Republicans are currently in power in the United States, and they might have a good run. Here the Alliance has broken dreams from the last days of Cambell. However, it's no mystery that Bush is controversial in policy and that the average American voter has little consideration for those elsewhere in the world... not to mention they're not very bright. Well, probably.  :tongue2:

And lets overlook why they helped him back then.At the time it was perceived as a situation of lesser evils and frankly he was a lesser evil.

In the end I think this says it well.

No matter what side of the political spectrum you're on, if you are incapable of feeling at least a tiny amount of joy at watching ordinary Iraqis celebrate this, you are lost to the ideological left. And let me also add, if you are incapable of feeling badly that we even had to use force in the first place, you are ideologically lost to the right. And I would inform both of those groups to leave the room now and do not watch the program. It's like ice-skating: We throw out the high score and the low score. The rest of the people, you're welcome at the table.

I have not read a bit of this thread, but I just have one thing to say.

The Rumsfeld/Saddam buddy picture has no bearing on what is happening now. What exactly are you trying to prove? You are bitter that we found him to be sure, and maybe you should think about that. All of the crap you have posted in here today, was discussed six months ago quite fully.

It's symbolic of the blatant hypocricy of Rumsfeld and the rest of this administration.

Rumsfeld was fine with the genocide when it worked to the advantage of the US. Now he's using that genocide to further his own agenda.

The Federal Government is hypocritical?

No!

Or would that be just the conservatives?

I am sure the liberals and the collectivists are perfect little angels.

Jebus, you act as if you are surprised.

Whiskey Rebellion anyone?
