I love this SRV song more and more everyday. I've started learning how to play it on guitar, and it's so beautiful. Anyone else really into Stevie's music?

yeah I love it too.
It's sort of a shame I got into it by first hearing John Mayer's rendition. Mayer plays guitar really well, actually, he's just kind of a pussy.
But the SRV song is gorgeous...

SRV played with so much soul, I love his style. Lenny is definitely one of Stevie's better songs.

I learned how to play it, even though I have never heard it( souds impossible huh :tongue2:)
What album is it on?

That reminds me I sang Texas Flood at Karaoke, and realized I had never heard it either..pulled it off alright though.
I need to get some of more music.

stevie is a god among guitar gods.

he could play anything. i wish he was still with us in the flesh. i never got the chance to see him play.  :sad:

It's on his debut album Texas Flood. Besides Lenny and Texas Flood, it has Pride and Joy and Love Struck Baby too. And the expanded edition has an additional 5 tracks.
