soft white fuzz on my pktek- pls help me id

I've made some brf cakes.  One fruited, and then I moved my sgfc outdoors.  I did this because I had some rye grains going indoors, and could afford to see how some cakes would perform in the garden.

Well they stalled for a while, so I dunked the poor things.  Now they seemed to have developed a soft white beard, as pictured.

What is this? If it is harmless, I'm going to crumble the 3 cakes into some 50/50 and see if they recover.

That looks like it could be cobweb/dactylium/whatever. It's definitely not cube myc. I wouldn't use it/toss it. Shit spreads like a bitch.

Definitely cobweb, it tends to reach through open air like that.

Useful too, thanks.

Having tried the SGFC outdoors, I won't do that again.  I thought the "real" air flow would be beneficial, but I found the humididty was a problem.  Now I also find that cobweb is more likely to hit outdoors too.

I'll be bleaching the chamber and perlite and will relocate the thing inside.

Would bleach be okay to kill any cobweb "spores" from the perlite?

You could bake the perlite.
