I've only been paying slight attention to mgsmetal gear solid 5 and fallout 4.
Metal gear 5's trailer was fucking awesome, i am literally dying to play it at this point. Peace walker was fucking awesome, and from what I've seen this is pw, open world. Such a great series, each game is drastically different, so it doesn't feel to repetitive jumping from one to the other.
Also i am stoked to see some pre war era fallout, even if it's as short as answering the front door. I'm sure there'll be more pre war gameplay, and the new vats system looks doper than dabs.
Anyone else watching it and see anything interesting?

I already saw the only thing I was really interested in finding out more info about. Fallout 4.

yeah I watched the Bethesda things last night, fallout 4 looks pretty cool. I wish there was multiplayer for it though, like co-op with a friend or two and base building + survival mode with waves of npcs in the base you guys made.

I definitely agree, but multiplayer would have to be put on the backburner, i can't imagine the response they'd get if they downgraded anything in single player.

Fallout 4 was the only thing really in my interest going into it. Pretty much felt like E3 was over after the Bethesda presentation.
That said, in looking into other coverage: Final Fantasy 7 remake might be worth a playthrough for nostalgia factor, or it might just miss the mark for me by this point.
Mirror's Edge going open world may capture my interest when it comes out.

Apparently a Shenmue 3 kickstarter was announced a few hours ago at E3.
It's almost hit the funding goal already.

did nintendo have their conference already? I'm waiting to see some star fox or maybe some dragon warrior stuff for the 3ds
FF7 looks pretty dope I played ff4 after years yesterday and while the game looks great on p.c., there's too many old school mechanics I feel in it for me to continue playing with ff7 at least I can just stare at my HD t.v... DW games can have battles that are a little more stunted and there is a huge fixation with leveling up stats

Shenmue 3 which was announced as a Kickstarter at Sony's conference last night has already passed their full 2 million dollar funding goal in less than 10 hours, making the project a new record setter.
Quote:
Shenmue 3 isn’t only the fastest game to raise a million dollars on Kickstarter, it’s also the fastest game to raise two million dollars.
The project was announced last night at Sony’s E3 press conference. It’s the follow-up the Shenmue 2, which was released fourteen years ago. Shenmue 3 Is Real, Already On Kickstarter
You want Shenmue 3? You’ll get it. If you pay for it. Read more
Shenmue 3 has steamrolled through its goal. Interest around the crowd-funded project has been strong enough for Kickstarter to tweet this:
In over nine hours, Shenmue 3 hit its two million dollar goal. That’s incredible.
Shenmue 3 Just Hit $2 Million, Setting a New Kickstarter Record
Prior to this, the fastest projects to reach a million dollars were Pebble Watch, a...watch, and Project Eternity, a title from veteran developers Obsidian. Project Eternity reached a million dollars in twenty-seven hours before going on to rack up $4.4 million, setting, then, a new Kickstarter record.
Via Statista, here are the fastest Kickstarter projects to hit a million dollars.

Shenmue 3 Just Hit $2 Million, Setting a New Kickstarter Record
They’ll need to pencil in Shenmue 3 to the top of this one!
The project still has thirty-one days to raise even more money. Good, because as Shenmue fans will be quick to point out, the previous entries, Shenmue and Shenmue 2, were some of the most expensive video games ever made. The expectations for this long overdue sequel are bound to be very, very high.

The kickstarter is already past the 2.5 million mark and is still steadily climbing. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ysnet/shenmue-3
Super interesting phenomenon to observe.

Man, I saw the SW battlefront gameplay and was thinking "damn, its like a battlefield version of my favourite game when I was a kid. This is gonna be fucking awesome" but then I did some reading and apparently there won't be space battles and the maps aren't as big nor as many and it just seems like its lacking a lot of content the original 2 had... which is a serious disappointment, and knowing EA that stuff will probably be released as DLC for more money added on to the already high $80 price tag (but don't worry, it wasn't planned into the game from the beginning so it's not like they're taking away features to sell to you for more at a later date..). I fucking hate EA and I really dont want to support their shit but I love Battlefront.. EA is my main gripe about the new battlefront.. sadly, I'll probably still buy it...
