question about pinning
    #2181151 - 12/16/03 12:00 AM (13 years, 4 months ago)

my foaf has a casing that is done with straight coir. The problem is that there are literally hundereds of pins all over the casing. How should my foaf go about misting as he does not want to create abhorts? also, should he be worried about the amount of pins and those that will actually mature?

dont mist the casing directly, except for fight after you harvest a flush, ofherwise just mist the walls of the fruiting chamber

Yes, or just do very light mistings throughout the day. Stand a few feet above your chamber and spray upwards a few times, then on the sides.

Do this every few hours and do it light. You should be okay.

i don't think that misting will create aborts. i think it creates mutants in the future. the two weeks it takes for it to pin youi should do a heavy misting every day. i do it in the morning:)

DO NOT mist the pins!!! Just mist the sides of the terrarium, but theyve probably got the right humidity and everything if theyre pinning well, you should just let them be and continue fanning

A light misting is ok. In my experience anyway.
