Upstate NY Finds
    #21811484 - 06/15/15 04:52 PM (8 years, 7 months ago)

I took a walk around my neighborhood today and found three different types of mushrooms. I attempted to ID these using a guide I have and I think I have at least positively ID'd 2 out of the 3. I'm hoping some more experienced hunters can confirm for me.

Mushroom 1 : Coprinopsis atramentaria - Common Inky Cap

Habitat:
Growing on lawn after a weekend of rain.

Gills:
Dark Brown/Black, attached, gills

Stem:
White, Thin

Cap:
Conical, black and inky

Spore print color:
Black

Bruising:
None

Mushroom 2: Panaeolina foenisecii - Mower's Mushroom

Habitat:
Growing on lawn after a weekend of rain.

Gills:
Tan/Brown, attached, gills

Stem:
3in, thin, tan color

Cap:
Conical, two-tone brown and orange brown separated by white ring

Spore print color:
Unknown

Bruising:
None

Mushroom 3: Protostropharia semiglobata? (This is the one I'm most unsure of)

Habitat:
Growing on lawn after a weekend of rain.

Gills:
Tan/Brown, attached, gills

Stem:
4in, thin, hollow, mostly white with a few brown stripes, hollow

Cap:
Scaly near the center of the cap, toasted marshmallow appearance

Spore print color:
Currently Printing

Bruising:
None

If anyone can confirm my finds I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

I think you got it with Agrocybe , something like A.pediades .
I agree with the other ID's too.

Thanks. I think you are both correct about the Agrocybe pediades.

I just took a look at my print and it has a cinnamon brown color:
