FAE in greenhouse

Doing some PE in a 4 tier greenhouse. I have a cool mist and ultrasonic turning on every 15 minutes for about 3 minutes. If I let the coolmist run full time it soaks everything.
I also have a 120mm pc fan mounted to the top of the greenhouse that turns on for 3 minutes every 15 minutes. I have cut slits in the greenhouse. the cycles are timed so that when the fan turns off, the humidifiers turn on.
I have a bunch of pins and larger sized fruit (MS). I am also having fuzzy feet, which from what I've read is the result of insufficient FAE. The tray that the PE is in now is an old monotub (no polyfil in holes). I am wondering if the higher sides are trapping co2 down at the substrate level, and thus causing the fuzzy feet.
I know that I will eventually figure this out, but curious if the community had any ideas?
should i:
1. turn on the exhaust fan for longer
2. add an intake fan that runs at the same time as the exhaust
3. have a fan circulate around inside the greenhouse while the exhaust fan is running
I have since gotten some 16q shoe box totes that i will be using. if these were fruiting at the same time i would be able to answer the question about the high sides causing an issue.
thanks

Yes, improve FAE any way you can.

I bet running the exhaust longer and making sure there are a few holes for FAE would help a lot. You may have to adjust your humidity accordingly but that's all part of the process of dialing it in.

i did option 1 and 3 after posting the OP. seems like it had too much of an effect, some caps are getting dimples in the cap. i upped the time on the humidifers.
getting closer!

You could have skipped the cutting up part and the fan part altogether. I use 1 warm mist humidifier and adjust my door opening for FAE and I have great results.

I'd guess the high sides are the main culprit. I would also reverse things so the humidifier comes on before the fan.

I have used trays in my GH that were 7" tall. I too worried the higher walls were preventing proper airflow over the substrate, inhibiting the essential evaporation of the substrate. These are the trays I used.
So I drilled 1" holes every 3" just above the 4" height mark of the trays, about 9 in total. My subs are typically 3"-4" deep. No pollyfill needed. I noticed this helped with better pinsets. Later on, when colonizing subs, i would simply saran wrap the sides of the trays to keep CO2 high.
