ATL 7 issue/help

My buddy has some ATL 7 going and wanted me to post a question for him. He said they are 3-4 weeks in and this is what is going on (not fully colonized). It was expected to be more colonized by now. Any suggestions? Should it be shaked, could it be a temp issue, or should he be more patient?
Btw - the jar bottoms are fully colonized.

was it innoc with spores or agar? it isn't the best pic but it looks pretty healthy from what I can see although there can be sneaky stuff sometimes messing things up. what are the temps? I doubt its a temp issue though
are the grains real wet? with stone producers ive heard shaking can lead to less stone production and sometimes they just wont even recover. every time ive grown it unless I used LC I shook and it went fine but they were all growing at a normal rate so I don't know.
I would start something new and just let that one sit to see what happens

inoculated with spores. He just thought it was supposed to colonized in around 7 days. believe the grains were soaked at a timeframe according to one of the teks on here
temps are approx 70 f

there are a few crazy teks out there though lol but they look alright too from the bit I see.
it can take up to 2 weeks just for spores to germinate but more often its much faster but 7 days to colonize from spores is just not possible. its really hard to say without knowing when the spores germinated and what it looked like a week ago etc.
just watch it for a few days and see if you get noticeable growth and if not shake it just to try something but don't expect much., that's what I would do at least

spores could take from a few weeks to well over a month to get to 100%. Put it away for a few days and then shake.
edit: are you going for stones, or spawning it? If you want stones, many people would tell you to not shake it. If you want to spawn shaking is fine.

Different takes for different folks but I'd say no shaking.
And yes sclerotia take time. I'd say just forget about them for another month or two.

The more you wait the more you get stones...wait at least 10 - 14 weeks for a good harvest. some harvest after only 2 months. But id rather wait. the more you wait the better you get.

Yes, shake it one time. You want to distribute that mycelium to speed colonization. The stones really don't start to form until about 90% colonization in my experience. Only shake it one time. That should be enough anyway.

Shake one and see how she recovers maybe. If in a week she's happy and recovering, then shake the others. If the shaken jar isn't too happy, just let the rest ride for as long as it takes.

I've always shaken my Mexicanae and they've recovered just fine. I've only done them a handful of times though.
