Hi I have a creeper growing in window near in bathroom..I have had it for a few years now and is quite large.its on the 3rd level and recently when watering it I noticed mushrooms started growing in the dirt ..The last thing I was expecting growing in the pot! Not sure how? As im on 3rd level. it was at my parents house from feb 8th to March 18th.. Who live in Bonbeach.Perhaps came then. Then nearly 3 months later started growing! Anyway they look like magic mushrooms I had a very long time ago(big group of us picked a few times but couldn't really find many 1st time and 2nd time we did but they didnt do much) so not a very memorable experience. therefore Memory is a bit hazy in that case! im curious are these magic mushrooms? Normal dirt and bathroom area is damp area. Its in Victoria, St Kilda. If they are magic mushrooms.. how big until you pick? at the moment the largest is the size of 1 keyboard button prob that is being generous even smaller..How many should you have? Or if not magic mushrooms are they good to eat anyway

Please someone hop in and help this guy out. Kactus if your here I know you'll know what it is.
I can't tell but I think the gill color is way off but the mushrooms themselves show a couple strong similarities to a few actives I know of.
No expert so I'm not gonna say anything until someone experienced pops in.

Thank you spaceman and crocau, ent for your comments. Unless further conmments I will assume they are not magic mushrooms Further info: THey have only sprouted in past few weeks.. many tiny ones are coming up from the dirt also. That one in the photo(out of the dirt) it came out of the dirt very easy I just nocked it and it came out today so not sure if was already not alive. Also with watering does it matter how I put water in the pot? eg maybe I damaged some when I last watered it. As first time I have since I spotted them come up(obviously being bathroom due to shower being used plants need less water).

These are very cool mushrooms. They might be deadly. Or they might be psychoactive.
I can't really tell if they are Psilocybe or Galerina. They look more like Galerina. Which is deadly. 90% chance, I think.
Could you take some more pictures and check the spore print color?

Alan I have prepared a spore sprint as you suggest, I will get back tomorrow with pictures. I am assuming in light and dark. The first pic is just to show the mushrooms, the 2nd pic is what I will leave it overnight. The 10cent piece to show the size..(which is not with the mushrooms its underneath the glass)

Sorry dude those aren't active. I guess I'm with Alan on Galerina.
Well you did learn something right? Go out mushroom hunting now that you know how to present them for ID and maybe you'll run up on a nice active patch.
You in PNW?
BTW I would be interested in growing that same mushroom out for decor here
