Strange looking pins on surface of tub

I spawned this tub on May 28th, and the surface was colonized about 5 days ago. I decided to let it consolidate and today I noticed these strange looking pins on the surface and thought that it was probably ready to fruit. Should i pick these off or just leave them alone? Also, the surface of the tub is really soggy. The last tub I set into fruiting was the same way and I wiped it down gently with a paper towel, but it left a mark on the surface. I'm thinking maybe I should just leave the tub alone and let it do its thing. I'm just getting really impatient I guess..

Those are the kinds of pins that appear while there is no, or very low FAE. The fact that it's pinning means it doesn't want to consolidate anymore, just put it in fruiting.
If it's really moist on top just keep the polyfill loose for the first few days. They love extra FAE, why not let it do the work for you? Paper Towels aren't bad but a few droplets on top won't kill you.
From the pictures it doesn't look that bad though, should clear up within 1-2 days of fruiting conditions when everything equalizes in there.

Always listen to your mushrooms. They tell you what they want. They want air right now.

Thanks man lmao I put it into fruiting conditions already and i loosened the polyfill a bit. I'm gonna fan it throughout the day to try to get the pooling on the surface to evaporate faster. I have a good feeling about this grow!!

Okay cool I put it into fruiting already and put looser polyfill in the top holes of the tub. I'm hoping for an awesome first flush!!
