It would be more useful if they listed the foods people ate (and amounts) along with the afflictions they suffered, for a period of a year or so. Then you can draw whatever inferences you want from that.
One thing I'd be interested in looking at is the protein quantity. When I was younger there were several days where I went without an abundance of protein -- my diet included lots of processed chips, chocolate, and soft drinks. I think there are a lot of vegetarians who are vegetarian for the political reasons, but don't really care about their nutrition and think 'is it ethical to eat this food?' rather than 'does this food give my body the nutrients it needs?' I imagine the omnivorous equivalent would eat lots of fast food, which is probably pretty bad health-wise, but they are getting plenty of protein, fat, and carbohydrates on those days, even though they aren't really thinking about those things.

I felt tired and hungry all the time when I was a vegetarian. Terrible choice...I was really brainwashed by buddhism and new age shit at the time though. Truly thought it was some "noble" diet or some shit.
Weird phase of my life. Glad I've grown out of that type of mindset and came back to Earth. It's just a fact of life that animals feed on other animals to survive and THAT'S JUST THE WAY IT IS.
