Am I doing this right? Psilocybe Koh Samui (Casing)

Hey Yall
Just thought I would get some input on my first cultivation try. Bought some koh samui spores from a reputible dealer. Took me awhile to get it to this point (about 4-5 months). Finally got it to the casing stage. and now with the summer temps healing out I am left with this after just 3 days.
Wanting to know if this is looking good so far.....
Also sry for the terrible pic my phone is having a hardtime focusing with no light.

Is it normal for it to be blueing this early. The straw is fully colonized under the casing. All input is welcome

Yep, it's contaminated. Since it took you months to get this far your spawn was likely contaminated. Unless you isolated on agar first and that's what took so long it shouldn't be more than about 2 months, maybe 10 weeks from spore print to fruits.
Sorry.

Thanks guys,
Its all good was a great learn for my first time. Have to encounter these sometime eh?
Didnt want to touch it when in the box but I have a feeling that I made a sanitation mistake in my watering. Upon further inspection I straight up took the bag out of the box. Probably didnt have a fine enough mist on bottle and water was contaminated. Healthy solid white chunk of mycellium center with wet blue trich growing on the bag (inside where water would have dripped from dome)
Any advice on what to do from here?
Is it a possibility cut away the outer edges where the trich is and outer shell of mycellium chunk to possibly colonize another clean jar if im lucky?

You need to start over for the next jars. If you started from spore, try going to agar first.
I would use what you have there as compost if you have a garden. You might get a few shrooms. It looks like you're growing outside anyways.

No one sterilizes their water before misting. Fruiting is not a sterile process. The contamination was either in the inoculate (spores) or introduced during inoculation (user error). Its also possible that if you used materials like manure or straw in the substrate, improper pasteurization is to blame. But its not the water you misted with.
That is dead. Just bury it outside or pitch it in the trash. There is no saving it. Sorry. Read lots and better luck next time.

Its all good broskies. Just won the casing kit online and had to try it out. There will definately be more tries. Just came across pastywhyte tek on agar, seems more promising.
