Maybe in the future. Never say never.

Maybe in the future movie theaters will start allowing some new and pretty good t.v. series, the day after they air, to play across the big screen. It would sure generate money for all parties involved making such so.
I would have loved to have seen my favorite t.v. series of all time ("Legend Of The Seeker") on the big screen!
And I would love to see 3 ongoing t.v. series (Gotham, Bates Motel, and The Blacklist) I like on big screen today!
Can U think of any ongoing t.v. series that would do nicely on the big screen in the movie theater?

The movie industry is failing because people would rather watch this shit at home.
Why would taking shit you can watch at home and putting it in a theater work?

Fuck movie theaters and giving them money for their overpriced shit, save all the money you would of spent at the movies, buy a projector and a screen and use an entire empty wall in your house to do it yourself!
A few friends of mine have them and it's amazing and way better. One friend streams tv, xbox, computer, anything he wants is on like a 10x12 wall in his house.

I would like to see the Netflix series Daredevil on the big screen.
But honestly I would much prefer going to the movies if I could drink in the theater. I always have to sneak a flask in and then I really feel like an alcoholic.
I don't have enough of an attention span to watch movies sober.

Movie theaters offer movie goer experiences which are unique and specific to what plays VS watching at home every single movie.
I like seeing DVDs because of special features. But I do prefer seeing horror genre movies by the movie goer experience when I can go.
I would only like a movie goer experience to a select few shows I dig. Of course all shows I watch I wouldn't prefer a movie goer experience for.

Yeah I was gonna say that also.
I went to a movie the other day for the first time in literally years.
Fucking awesome. I'd forgotten what a different experience it is to see a movie on a screen that big and with a sound system that fucking bad ass.
I only wish I knew what movies were good before they get to the down trodden dollar flicks theater. No way am I paying $10 for some shitty Hollywood rehash.

I'm not sure if this is nationwide but down here all AMC and Regal Theaters serve beer & wine.
The AMC down the street from me just did a remodel and it's awesome. All the seats recline and have a little tablet built in. The tablet is a menu where you can order food and drinks. You just slide your credit/debit card to pay for your order and an usher will bring you your things right away.
As cool as all that is, I don't like movie theaters. The drive-in is where it's at...smoke weed throughout the whole movie, and you have guys riding around the lot in golf carts selling food & drinks (including beer).

It's $6 a person to watch a movie at the drive-in here. http://www.floridaswapshop.com/movies/
Worth every penny.
Edit: There's 14 screens so usually when I go I'll stay for a double feature. Coming out to $3 each.

Wow, that's crazy expensive. I guess it would be worth it if there were 4 people in the car but no one wants to sit in the backseat at the drive-in. Laaame.

They shutdown all the drive-ins in my area.
My very first job was working at a swap meet during the day which then doubled as a drive-in theater at night. All the workers got into the Drive In for free. I saw the Matrix, Finding Nemo and a ton of other titles there back in the day. Talk about a good time.
They need to bring more Drive-Ins back.
