Looks very fluffy to me. Was that growth very quick? 1st pic has a bit of green on it. If I had to guess I would say it is cobweb but let someone else chime in.

Rudboi is right...this looks like cobweb. I'm guessing that this is the first growth that you've seen in your jars so far? Cobweb tends to start-off a lot faster than cubensis.
When I get cobweb in my jar, I keep it for observation for a few days. That way I can compare it to healthy mycelium and confirm that it is indeed a contamination. Sometimes mushroom mycelium, in its early-stages, can look a lot like cobweb so this method helps prevent making that mistake.
Don't feel bad man! If you followed sterile technique, the contamination most likely came from your syringe; otherwise, try to think about how you can improve your sterile-conditions.
-------------------- Studying mycology since: August, 2008 A typical monotub grow of a multi-spore rye spawn with some Golden Teachers: inoculated on day one and saw first signs of growth on day 5. On day 17 jars were 15% - 30% colonized so shook em up. On day 25 I mixed the spawn and sub in the monotub and on day 50 harvested the first flush. Just under 4 ounces dry in 1 month 19 days! One Love!

Yes. I am sure it came from an infected syringe. All jars from one syringe look like this. From another syringe it looks normal. The syringe got infected from improper handling Anyway I am a bit relieved I don't need to grow so many of them. Its a bit of a hassle and I don't want to use it that much anymore.

May I ask.. what strain is it?
How fast is it moving also? Cobweb works it's magic pretty fast, trich is fast also.
It looks like outdoor mushroom mycelium..
Has it taken over the whole jar yet? Any new pictures?

I agree with what Mike is getting at. Cob web moves really fast. From the pictures it just looks like mycelium that is just starting to establish itself. More often than not people who don't know any better confuse young myc for cobweb. When mycelium is just starting out it doesn't grow all thick and rhizomorphic. It is thin and whispy before it gets a good running start. I think your jars look good so far.

Cobweb mold will grow like mad and become very obvious. Cobweb is darker than cubensis mycelium... more of a grey than a white. Once you have seen cobweb mold...it is very easy to tell the difference. Regular cubensis mycelium can look an awful lot like cobweb until you know what to look for.
Here is a picture of cobweb mold.

It is Cambodian Comparison of two jars taken in the same time. One looking normal, one not(The normal is Brasil, the other is Cambodian.).

Is the one on the left exposed to more heat? It looks like they just don't have enough water or something.
If worse comes to worse, sterilize some water in a syringe and inject it. If it is a contamination, then its fucked anyway. If it wants water, you can revive it.
You can get these differences in MS syringes also. I have even had some of the same liquid culture turn out thin and lightish grey while in the same jar and others it was thick and white.

They get the same amount of heat, and have been prepared in the same way. I don't think they lack water.

It's not cobweb. It'd be taken over by now, but it doesn't look like good cube mycelium. Too disorganized/translucent, grey and overall uniform (MS usually has a whole array of different myceliums ). Especially if it's from the same batch of grains prepped. It looks like a tosser to me.

I would hate to advice to toss it.. Its not like it won't produce something.
Just keep it and spawn it to a mini mono or get some pearlite and make a tray.

I don't know what it is. dactylium is commonly mistaken for cobweb.
I agree, just keeping it around, as long as it's filtered, its fine and won't do any harm. I'd recommend smelling for that mushroomy smell before trying to spawn though.
