I personally would never marry.
After looking at my paystubs, I am starting to want to.
Has anyone ever married for this reason??
--------------------
Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Psalm 12:6 The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Hebrews 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. Revelation 3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

But to answer the question - I'm sure people have married for that reason as one of the few benefits of marriage. I personally would not specifically for that reason.

Married to save what, 3% on taxes? No thanks.

Honestly I agree. But I wouldn't marry just anyone.
Before I wouldn't even consider marriage.
I feel like marriage is between a man, a woman, and God. Not the state.
I feel like the only way I can justify a marriage, any marriage, is if you were to try and get into a better tax bracket. Other than that, you are brainwashed or under the influence of something or someone.
