Jurassic Word gets an 8/10 by my standards. Deff worth seeing in thearters I just wish the movie developed a tad faster in the beginning i felt like there were a little bit of unnecessary plots but all in all great movie

i thought chris pratt was great in this movie
idk, ive never been someone whos truly into characters. like with the show "lost". i didnt give a fuck about the characters, i wanted to understand the island. clearly i missed the point of that whole series
and like even with the new star wars. people bitched that the actor who was anakin skywalker was a shitty actor but that shit never bothered me. i just follow the story and use my imagination and go with it
an actor has to be super shitty for me to complain about it

My biggest complaint with the movie now.that i think of it is how out of fucking nowhere "mom and dad are getting a divorce", and that's that. It had absolutely no fucking relevancy to the plot at all. I mean yeah at first i was like "ouch", then ten seconds later i completely forgot about it, and don't recall it coming up again.

Well there are two thoughts that come to mind when I thought back on it. 1. the entire trip was so that the parents could hammer out the divorce BS and it just never got wrapped at the end for whatever reason. 2. The original script elaborated on it but for whatever reason when that whole side track got cut out, that little part didn't.
I dunno. Maybe they were just trying to make you feel sorry for the kids so you aren't like "Fuck yeah dinosaur eat their ass!"

I went and saw it on Tuesday. While I enjoyed it overall there was definitely some moments of "wwtf?!?!"

it's just what happens with most movies nowdays, way too many ideas crammed into one script and then sometimes u dont even know wtf is going on and u dont even need to be on drugs for that to happen

Quality (a subjective trait anyhow) has no bearing on how a movie opens though. I didnt think much of Avatar either, but it's the highest grossing film ever. The sequel will do nearly as well.
Episode 7 is gonna have a gargantuan opening weekend, no doubt. But I don't see it setting any records. This is just my own speculation, of course.
