How long before I must pressure cook jars?

hello fellow shroomites! First time poster here but very long time reader of this forum. I've had many successful grows thanks to you folks! Anyways, I have a question you guys may be able to answer. I made 6 jars of wbs, and when I went to pc them, I found out my rubber-sealer-ring thing wasn't functional. Will my jars survive until 10:30 tomorrow night before I get to pressure cook them? Here's my thoughts:
Either:
1. Contaminants will "germinate" and be easier to kill. (Endospores mainly) 2. It'll give the contaminants a foothold, and fuck all my jars. Or: 3. The apocalypse will start tomorrow and I'll be too busy to worry about them... Gotta be ready!! Lol
What are your thoughts? Have you ever had a delay between making and sterilizing jars?
Hope you guys will accept me into this community!

Seal them up and put in the fridge no problems
If you put them in the pc cold make sure you put cold water in the pc so they don't heat up too quickly

I asked this same question a long time ago. "shelf life of presterilized grain jars".
Since then ive seen 3 or 4 posts asking the same exact thing. Just gets irritating.

buck, the OP didn't ask the shelf life of sterilized jars. they asked the shelf life of prepped jars that haven't been sterilized yet b/c his PC broke. i hate search function nazis. they'll be fine for 24 hours. i have done it before with grain for spawn and not had an issue. PC them for an extra 30-60 min if you're concerned. make sur eyou cover them so they don't lose moisture. and make sure you add extra water to the PC if you run it longer than normal.

Yes I was en route to sterilize them when the rubber ring that seals pressure in the pc started to leak. They had not been sterilized at that point, but now they've been sterilized and will be inoculated with either GT or Brazil.

In the future, you can take your gasket while its hot, and give it a big stretch all the way and replace. This can fix the problem for a while, use vasoline too.
Buy a replacement but its a a quick fix

i use it Azur, but it freaking sucks. using google yields much more accurate results. seriously, i searched "peat bulk sub" and got results like grated potato sub and worm castings in bulk sub...not helpful. anyway, you just gonna troll me now?

Ha ha. I'm just poking at you. I agree the search feature sucks. I've never used it myself. Always use Google and add shroomery to the key word list. Hope you're well. I'll try to stop fucking with you.

They should be fine. I would stick them in the fridge. The search feature can be a PITA sometimes because answers are often buried under piles of bullshit. Don't be afraid to ask stupid questions. Use the search feature while you wait for an answer. Ignore the trolls.

I never used pressure cooker. Boiling in pot with simple lid for 30min worked for me.

Really? You only boil WBS jars for 30 mins, let cool and then inoculate?

Thanks I'm starting a log as soon as my dub tub gets fully colonized. Brazil Strain for that one. The jars I did a jar to jar transfer and am having seeming success with that.
