Good food for an LSD trip
    #2179995 - 12/15/03 05:16 PM (12 years, 11 months ago)

On wednesday me and 3 of my friends will be taking the last 6 hits of the flies we have.  Im alreardy gonna get some kiwi and other fruits, but i was wondering about anyone suggestions.  Last time i tripped on the same paper in october had a kiwi.  It was really hard to skin under the influence, but its taste and texture just blew me away.

I am in my home town now, i will have my parents big place all to myself.  This should be a great time.  :nut: :nut:

oranges are great. my friend had some cookies that were real soft and had alot of frosting on them and it was liek eating a cloud, but we all ended up kinda chewing them up and just made a huge mess, we spit it out on the floor because no one could handle swallowing them, plus our jaws were clenched down so much. jelly, frosting, whipcream, jello, or pudding can be fun but messy, i had some rice pudding and it was more fun to play with and squish and look at the texture than eat. oh and be careful cutting stuff up, I sliced my finger real good cuttin a orange before, didn't hurt which is what scared me I couldn't tell how bad it was but there was tons of blood, probably a better idea to skin/cut fruit while sober. have a great time,

Mango is my favorite food while tripping, along with most other juicy fruits like kiwi, watermelon and tangerines. Fudge-twirled ice cream is also utterly delicious on LSD.

all these suggestions. If i was tripping on acid and someone said "hey try this, it tastes great" I would be like "I dont want to eat that, i could choke and die, no i'll just stick to sitting here, rocking back and forth, waiting for this to end"

or at least that's how i used to be.

I always have oranges sitting by as well.

My wife digs on a small bowl of ice cream, and we usually have some sort of fruit juice to be drinking while tripping.

Pudding sounds fun though...

I find eating to be quite interesting on psychadelic drugs. Things just feel so different and taste different. Drinking water is pretty strange even.

I definatly wont be sitting in one place not doing anything, this place is too big just to chill. I love my parents place.

anything sweet is a good idea, glucose breaks down in your body to produce energy and it'll make you trip harder. enjoy and dont cut urself.

I had a horrible time with strawberries - which I normally love. They felt like I had a mouth full of sour sand.

I used to hate red bell peppers until a friend made some chicken with peppers during a trip - now I love them.

Ben and Jerry's ice cream - especially Phish Food - is great for the variety in textures.

Try preparing a fruit salad ahead of time, since being under the influence can make peeling things difficult, and just keep it in the fridge til you want it. That way you can taste all of your favourite fruits without copious amounts of effort. I think I'll do that on my next trip.

I don't particularly like to eat anything during a trip. I'm much too grossed out by food. My brain tends to break it down into the food's ingredients, and that's what I taste. I tried to eat a chocochip cookie one time, and all I could taste was flour, cocoa, salt, butter and sugar. It wasn't too pleasant.

Hard to beat ice cream. It cools one down. Usually I get really hot on acid.
