Should I fruit ? Or wait..

It's Been 8 days in tub
Should I wait for knots and thick white mycelium to incorporate the top sub, or just throw them into fruiting as is?
The tubs were introduced to FAE & a light mist on top of surface.. Rewrapped and altered tops with plastic wrap...
Afraid I stunted the growth.. Aerial Mycelium was reaching for the sky.. I thought I needed to mist on account of the mycelium looking for an escape route. Not knowing if there was enough h20 moisture, or not enough.. (Reason for misting) (one time) Could I have set back my tubs with the air exchange and Co2 loss?

Wrapping the outside of tubs is pointless and a complete waste of time.
You should fruit it now, and don't mist again until the next flush.

The reason I put plastic wrap on the sides was because I took off the tape around the holes thinking I should fruit them... Then within 24 hours I rewrapped them with the plastic wrap.. Thank you for the info.. Let's see if anyone else breaks the silence lol

Dude you're completely over thinking it. Deciding when to introduce fruiting is not as important as you think.
The mycelium network will produce mushrooms once its ready. Whether you intro fruiting at 100% colonization, or when it starts to knot heavily, it doesn't matter. Personal preference

It's not about specific times it's about what's actually happening in your specific myc environment.
When you spawn to sub just keep it closed with appropriate humidity.
When it's fully colonized introduce light, lower temps, FAE and of course the appropriate humidity %
Is it fully colonized or not?

There is mycelium all over the top Aerial Mycelium And inbetween i have fluffy Mycelium so the growth pattern is relevant Introduced to fruiting last night. As long as it takes... Im patient c:
