Bigger glovebox

Hey guys. I haven't had internet access for a while after moving but i'm up and running again finally.
I want to get your opinion on this. I get frustated working in my small glovebox made from a 110l tub so i decided to build a bigger one.
Does it matter how big it is? I made this one 1000mm wide x 600 mm deep x 600mm highso i can work freely without being limited. I just have to fit the glass in front and finish the top that also have a piece of glass so that i can put i light on the outside.
What do you guys think? Will that work?

This is a glove box ( sealed and gloves attached) or still air box ? Go for the SAB ;
Make it as big and comfortable as you like! What matters is your technique

Well it's got holes cut in that i have attached sleeves that is elastic at the end so when i put my arms in it will make a seal around my arm. no gloves are attached to the sleeves. Will just use latex gloves

Some people still use glove box but these days its generally accepted that youre better off with still air box over GB
Youre actually better off with just two armholes, that give some space around your arms- a couple inches, no seal.
Reason is the traditional glove box stirs up bigger air currents when you move your arms around than a still air box does. These boxes work on the principle of still air-since you cant keep the inside of the box sterile- but you can keep the air as still as possible to avoid contaminants from settling into your open work.
So build your new box in this style, make the arm holes a couple inches bigger than your arms so there is no seal. Wear clean tyvek sleeves and gloves. When you go to work, prep the box by spraying the walls lightly with some soapy water (helps trap airborne contams) , and wipe anything that goes inside (gloves and tools too) gernerously with ISO... put whst you need into the box. Let the air in the bpx settle for a while and youre good to go to work
Bigger is better IMO, gives you space to work, elbow room to avoid clumbsiness

FYI, I used to use GB's but finally got to where I can do most work in the open. Like the SAB, the idea is to get to ZERO air movement in your work space and then keep everything near your project/work clean.
In my case I have a small room I use, all the windows are taped to prevent any air leaks, heating/cooling vents are also sealed, and I've weather stripped the door and even have one of those door seals that slides under the door. Also pulled the carpet up in that room, just hardwood flooring.
Before I start to work I spray everything down with Lysol, and wipe the work surfaces down with iso alky. I have a head scarf for my hair and a bandana to cover my mouth and a pair of shorts, all freshly washed with bleach (dried of course ;?), though sometimes I'll even work in the buff, lol. All containers, jars, bags, etc. are wiped down with alky and put into the work area, then one last spray throughout with Lysol.
Then I'll take a shower, use a lufa to exfoliate my upper body with special attention to arms, chest and face (great for your complection, btw), then change into my outfit and go to work. I also use latex gloves, and keep plenty of paper towels and alky and "wash" my gloved hands between each step with alky, then dry with a paper towel. Go through a lot of isopropyl, lol, but everything I touch is suspect I figure so just get into the habit.
Honestly, I've done all my work in the past few years this way, including G2G, cloning and even a bit of agar work - it does help to have your tech down pat so you can move quickly, practice breathing between steps in the process, or at least breath to the side, etc.
I really do love the freedom and how easy it is to work this way, and when it comes to LARGE projects, like dozens of bottles or big bags, GB's just won't work, so IMO it's worth all the painstaking preparation before hand. Try it some time and you might discover a whole new way to work with shrooms.
If you don't have a room to dedicate to this, IMO the bathroom is the next best place (kitchens are just too big, tend to be wide open or nearly impossible to close up, and believe me, there's plenty of germs/mold spores there as well so stick with the smaller space).
BTW, I don't care what people say about how nasty or dirty it might be, the best part about it is that most all of the surfaces are tile and porcelain and as such are easily wiped down with bleach or even just wetted down with a sterilizing agent(again Lysol or just a bleach spray). Make sure there's no drafts (may have to tape plastic bag over the fan vent) remove all towels, rugs, seat covers and shower curtains (after you've showered of course), spray and wipe sown the rest of the surfaces and you're ready to get to work. Done it many times and have taught a few friends to do the same. But don't knock it till you've tried it ;?D

Go as big as like. No reason to confine yourself to a tote. I also built a small plastic room around mine to further limit air movement.

Don't go so big you can't reach everything. That's your limit.
And yeah, don't attach gloves. It'd actually work if your box is 100% sealed, which it could be since you're not just using a tub, but you'd have no way to flame your tools.
