The police state tramples constitution, no one cares
    #21796786 - 06/12/15 10:23 AM (8 years, 9 months ago)

That pesky 4th amendment that says cops must have a warrant to enter and search a premises, that along with the first, second and other amendments has been quietly shredded while the public raises no fuss. There are terrorists out there after all. In this case, escaped prisoners so nobody worries about constitutional rights.

Police State America sends 450 cops to illegally search people's homes looking for escaped prisoners

For anyone that doubts we've become a police state here's the latest example:

In Vermont And New York Hundreds of law enforcement officers swept through the small Adirondack foothills town. Searchers walked shoulder to shoulder, wearing bulletproof vests and carrying sidearms as they went through hilly woods, fields and swamps, checking every home, garage, shed and outbuilding, then yelling, “Clear!” when there were no signs of the inmates.

By early evening, it appeared the sweep had come up empty, and there was no confirmation from police that the escaped convicts had been there. State Police said more than 450 corrections and other law enforcement officers were in the area and planned to go door to door, checking homes and seasonal camps.

State troopers, customs agents, federal marshals, park rangers and correction officers in helmets and body armor were checking people's houses without warrants!

The American police state did the exact same thing two years ago in Massachusetts:

“A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship.” (attributed to Alexis de Tocqueville political philosopher Circa 1835)

Do you have any evidence that they are searching homes without consent?

This video makes it clear that at least one resident simply said "no".

First its semi voluntary, but they ask you what you have to hide. I see them trampling through yards which is trespassing. In boston after the bombing they were even more intrusive. Creeping police state, creeping communism, just what the local loony left wants.

So, I take it that you have no evidence that the searches were without consent.  What makes you think that the constitution is being "trampled"?
