Depends on what your going for. If you want an MS/limited MS grow, take only one or two transfers from the fastest growth to new plates. Also helps to make sure the growth on your plates is clean.
For less tomentose (cottony) growth, keep transferring fast and healthy looking growth. It'll start to look rhizomorphic (ropey). With as many spores you put on your plate it may take more transfers to see nothing but rhizo growth.

i really wish i didn't mess this up now. I might just start over if it's going to take a lot of transfers... now that i know i can use DROPS, i can do this without the anxiety of knowing OMG I USED TOO MUCH WHAT NOW???????!?!?!?!?!?!?JB DFKHVDBK

By using 1cc per plate, you used 20x the amount of solution you were supposed to

Yeah start over, 1cc on a plate is asking for trouble. Bacteria metropolis incoming.

The biggest issue with using too much solution is. There will be growth all over the plate. Making it very difficult to track healthy growth and identify contams.

Several transfers would be in order to be able to check healthy mycelial growth, but as long as inoculm & sterile procedure is clean inoculating a petri with too much spore solution is hardy a deal breaker, and far from warrants starting over. Would be wise to begin new plates though, and inoculate them with less solution than a full cc. As the others have suggested, a drop of spore solution is all that's needed to inoculate agar with.

Yah I wouldn't start over. One or two transfers and you should be fine. I always make a transfer or two anyway and too begin with having lots of genetics is fine. Take a few clones from your grow to get good consistent growth on the next grow.

Well, depending on how clean the print is it'll either grow all over or something else will take over and the whole thing will look like shit.
Either way you'd do best to start another batch just in case, that was the main point.

these are pics of two different agar plates, the growth is discolored and im trying to figure out why my growth turns out like this two times in a row basically. I'm wondering if it could be the agar i'm using has sugar or if maybe food colouring I use has something in it

I used ms and also inoculated a couple a few rye grain jars. the mycelium is growing nice and white and I dont see any contams as of yet.. This pic was after I shook the jars a little the day before

No worries, at 146 pages its an easy mistake to make. But this is a place where people come for agar help so as long as no one is getting their questions drowned out I am not worried if it goes a touch off topic.
