Habitat: Park with lots of gum trees around growing on wood chips
I seen them before but didn't make much of it as they were lot smaller and had different colour but today on 2nd look i picked couple to have a look, after few hours in a car stem got strong bruising that looks like sub bruising stem feels like sub stem as well but because they out in the open under the sun they caps look bit dark and dry not best photos but hope someone can tell me if it is worth going back and picking up the rest
also this one, different location (bush with gum trees),clearly not sub to my eye but i'm very curious about this one because it looks like nothing i would pick but it shows slight blueing on stem near the cap

Sorry for the noob question but what do you mean by sub? Also if you know of a "learn the shroomery slang" page that'd be a good link.

First time I went picking I fluked the season and got maybe 100g of shrooms, but I didn't have any equipment to dry them so they wasted. I know your pain.

"Sub" = Psilocybe subaeruginosa (in Oz and NZ, anyway)
Remember guys & gals, if in any doubt - and even when not in doubt - always grab a spore print. It confirms ID (combined with bluing) and also gives plenty of material to spread The Love.
-------------------- "The period of Prohibition — called the noble experiment — brought on the greatest breakdown of law and order the United States has known until today. I think there is a lesson here. Do not regulate the private morals of people. Do not tell them what they can take or not take. Because if you do, they will become angry and antisocial and they will get what they want from criminals who are able to work in perfect freedom because they have paid off the police." - Gore Vidal, "The State of the Union" (1975)
