First time cultivating peruvian torch questions

Hi so this is my first time cultivating a peruvian torch cactus and had a few questions. My cactus is about 4-5 cm and in a small clay pot filled with a store bought mycoactive cactus mix containing spaghnum peat moss, peat humus, organic fertilizer, sand, and mycorrhizae. So my questions are as follows is this store bought mix sufficient or can I make it better? Is this clay pot I have big enough for it? When do I transplant it?

Are you one hundred percent sure that is a T. peruvianus? The photo isn't enlarging, but your soil seems fine.

Here's a couple more pics. It will be really disappointing if it's not a peruvian torch

That's a little better. It's a baby. You gotta give it time before you see its true potential.

Peruvianus genetics are so muddled. If you want a true mescaline containing cactus bridgesii seems to be the most consistent. That is what I like to call Trichocereus sp.

Well said. If it's mescaline your after, it bridgesii. True Peruvianus are more of a collectors item in my opinion, but I'd say it's a bit early to tell just yet. it looks real nice though, congrats on your new baby!

Collectors item for sure. I have some I would not dare touch. Too beautiful to even sample. I got one sold to me as a short spine peruvianus but who the hell knows and that's the one I tripped off of. It's beautiful.
