So from your experiences with psychedelics, what have been the main lessons you have taken away from them?
For me, they are:
We are all one. Health is very important. Our planet is beautiful and it is my duty to be sustainable and aware. Life is long and hard, but is amazingly beautiful and worth every second. Humility. Awareness and desire to learn/desire to be better/finding reasons worth living for Love is the greatest drug.

Friendship is very real and an illusion at the same time. You need to decide who's for real and going nowhere -and who is deadweight and going to drag you down.
Learnt this at 3 years of university. It's good to have a lot of friends -but to be truly comfortable in life you need that tight-knit group who you can rely on.

Lessons I have been taught:
Spend more time with family. Always.
Humbleness.
The moment is all there is.
We don't know anything. We came here to relearn the information stored deep into our minds that we once knew
Never take anybody too seriously. They are all like me.
Don't judge.
Work now, play later.
Nothing lasts.
If you don't have a plan, you become part of somebody elses plan. Always strategize.
Don't be quick to anger.
Take care of myself, first, because its a dog-eat-dog world.
Nice guys truly do finish last. But mean guys don't finish at all.

What I have learned from the use of psychs is that my mind is much more powerful than I originally thought, a lot of health and well being comes from mindfulness, thoughts have tremendous power over you, and where you devote your energy is a big factor. They really have not taught me anything in specific, they have made me realize what I have once forgotten, they have given me thousands of reasons to live and none to die. They show me what should be seen all the time, and how the world really should be and feel, and that's all that I need.
I can say they've taught me to think properly or at least in a new revised way, they open perspectives to everything and show you the tremendous power thoughts and imagination have!

I've learned that drugs won't in and of themselves get you anywhere.
I've learned the value self reflection.
Some of what i've gained isn't a lesson or moral but more so a feeling, or access to feelings.
i've learned things about music and drawing.
I feel like a lot of what bill said above has come to me in trips. I also think its important to note that everyone is their own and one's mind may not come to the same conclusions from any experience, psychedelic or not.

everything is connected even if it's indirect and hard to see Like the beatle said; all you need is love. by this i mean you can get anywhere if you love the outcome enough. theres no need to be afraid of death. (never really have been but psyches definately set that in stone. if the whole world took acid at the same time there would be world peace for ten hours atleast if not longer. materials are nothing. all that matters is being part of the team that is humanity. if you arent willing to pull your own weight you shouldn't be on the ship.

Everything is made out of pure love, life is love.
Family Is Important
The Universe has a way of working things out
Everything is Connected
Our bodies are inner eco systems working to make us..us and we should value that.
We are nothing more than intelligent apes that destroy the planet. Nothing in nature is greater than us nor are we greater than them.
Death is merely an experience that you need experience to get to.
God exists within our minds and in order to fix the world everyone must unlock the inner god or good nature that we have all been given.
Capitalism is Evil.
-------------------- Step 1: Stare at this for 30 seconds
Step 2: Look at this after following step one
Step 3: Enjoy the mini trip

Well, none of those really. Nothing I could put into a short phrase, anyway.
I don't think you take lessons from, mushrooms, anyway - they just tell/show you whatever they want to and you get to pick up the pieces. Entirely different process. But that's just and YMMV.

The last time i had a level 4 shroom trip, i thought very hard about my money expenses. Since then ive gotten a new car, paid off a 5000$ loan and paid off medical bills.
I just thought about that now, since my last good trip, all the thoughts i had about money, and now look where im at 6 months later.
Waiting on my magic truffles from the netherlands to come. I hope they make it through to my mail box, so i can get another level 4 trip and go on with my life as the trip advises.

True. Most of these lessons come from within. Things we already know internally and subconsciously. I feel like psychs can amplify these innate lessons and that's why people can use them as tools to become better. Why go to therapy when you can go directly to the source?

I do notice a want to change things in my life after a bad trip. Its like something inside me is pushing for change. The one thing I have noticed from doing psychedelics is the curiosity it has given me to things in every day life. I have not learned much but it has given me plenty of unexplained things to ponder.
