PLEASE HELP! im a newb :(

ok. I tried to do this 100% solo and god dangit im failing. I have no clue how to identify contaminations, the pics on this forum are grossly different from the vague shades of gray that I deemed to be contaminants. ive just tossed my 29th cake, I have not had a single fruit, pin, mushroom, anything.
the pics in my gallery are my setup, my last 2 cakes, one that was birthed 3 days ago, and one that is still in the jar.
the one still in the jar is still uncolonozied in areas at week 3. I have deemed it contaminated and I plan to throw it out. that gray splotch. just look at it. is it bad? please help
the cake that a was birthed is an expensive cake. I did a full 10 CCs in all 4 holes for that jar. it was fully colonized in like... idk... 11 days? less than 2 weeks. I was super happy because I thought I finally was going to have some fruits, but alas, I spied with my little eyes something green and fluffy. I thought shit wouldn't grow on the mycelium? this is a very new development, within the last 12 hours. can I cut this green stuff off with a knife? it seems to be growing on the airy mycelium, and not the actual cake itself. again, please help.
my setup was 100% home made. my growing chamber has 1 point of egress, at the very bottom to let water out... not including the top which comes off... do I need to give my babies(baby ((() more air?
also, what happens if I go over temp? I colonized my jars at 81-91 degrees, for ALL of them. all of my jars that I desposed of had extremely vague colors to them, like just barely noticeable grays.... and only the grays. no yellows, no blues, no blacks, no reds or oranges. just that vague gray. is gray bad? I was led to believe anything not white = destroy immedieatly.
have I been jumping the gun? am I tossing perfectly good cakes away? what am I doing wrong

Pics are kinda blurry, but the cake looks fine to me- the grey is probably just a little bruising. 10 cc's per hole is *way* too much spore solution- you only need maybe 1/2 a cc tops. There's no advantage in using more.
By the way, looks like you're using the old PF tek. I started out that way, but ended up scrapping my regular mouth jars and complicated humidifying system in favor of the BRF tek on Roger Rabbit's let's grow mushrooms videos. Best $9 I've ever spent. RR's made the full BRF tek video is available for free in low resolution, it's enough to get started.

10 ccs in one jar is not only a waste of spore solution it can also soak the bottom of the cake down and introduce bacterial contaminants. 1Cc per jar. Your cakes look good to me

So you stated that you just threw out your 29th cake...does that mean that you have made 29 cakes or more and none have pinned? Also for full colonization Ive had it take up to five weeks depending on strain and temperature they are housed in. To me the cake in the picture looks like it may have a little overlay which is normally not a problem. Do your cakes smell like anything besides earthy mushrooms? Bacteria can set in and give them a funny smell sometimes like three day old garbage. It can keep your cakes from pinning.
Also if you havent had any pins from all those cakes it could just be a genetics thing from your spores. That would mean aquiring new spores.
That cake looks fine to me but try for a clearer pic under better lighting.

Ive had a whole batch not pin and just grow plush white mycellium over all the cakes which I believe was because I packed the verm and brown rice down to tight and I also used twice the amount of brflour I was instructed to.

I'm really nervous about contamination, and i picked this up as a hobby. I just bought new jars today and I'm prepping for 9 new substrate jars. If I see a single non white color I toss the entire jar, glass and all. I've only had 2 birthed substrates, one had a blue fuzzy that I now know was ok, this other one that I put too much spores into has the green stuff.

also, I am reading a lot about cobweb mold, is that what this is? the white fluffy cottonball looking stuff? or is that just aerial mycelium?
I would very much appreciate it if someone could help me. my KIK is toolsteel if anyone can give me immediate help I would greatly appreciate it.
