So my roommate came home this morning and on their way in they drove past a wallet in the parking lot. They took it to the office manager. A few hours later the manager calls and asks where they found it.
This wallet belongs to a man in a wheelchair.

Lol, they found a wallet of a man in a wheelchair. The thief is fucked. He will get caught faster than a greyhound on a plastic rabbit.

Anonymous said: So for about three weeks we have noticed odd things around our apartment, like things that aren't usually moved, etc. We have pets so we shrugged it off and figured they were the reason.
Well my roommate last week asked me if I had been taking their prescription meds, I say No, why? And they said "because I just got this filled two weeks ago and there's no way I could have taken sixty in that time." This is true. I am honest and just say no, I haven't even been in your room.
They believe me, or so I think. I felt a little tension at first for a little bit, but I think when they realized I wasn't acting paranoid or sketchy that after a few hours everything was perfectly fine.
I recommended getting a security system, get cameras in both bedrooms. They agreed, thought it's never a bad idea to protect yourself.
So today I leave to go on a bike ride. I see the maintenance men and I wave. They know me. They know what vehicles we drive. We actually had them in doing a maintenance order on our kitchen sink a few weeks prior.
So I am only gone for about 45 min. I come home, notice the living room furniture (like pillows and pet beds/toys) have been moved waaay away from they usually are. I still think my pets had something to do with that.
I take a shower and pull some clothes out of the dryer, so no need to go into my closet....yet.
I'm chilling and decide I want to smoke. I walk into my room and turn the ceiling light on since its brighter. I walk into the closet and a few of my drawers are open. Oookkk......these were not open when I left an hour ago. If it was a sock drawer, then yeah, but these drawers just happened to hold a bag of mushrooms. I have a safe in my closet, I usually keep the key in the drawer, well the key was on the floor, but nothing that I can remember was taken.
I step out of my closet and I see a small, round blue pill that has the imprint P 20 I look it up and it's an anxiety med.
My friend is out of town, I call them and say "did you drop a small round blue pill in my room? Did you come home early or something and then leave bc some weird shit is going on." They say no, they are still out of town. She says she doesn't even take a small blue pill.
So now I'm thinking SOMEONE broke into my apartment, but there's no sign of an intrusion besides what I've noticed. And to top it off my hash oil vape pen is gone. I had it sticking in my graduation cup on my bedside, and the pure MDMA I had been saving for when I get depressed and need a pick me up, is gone. The bag they were in too.
I so badly want to call the front office. But I want to catch this bastard in the act. I'm replacing a bottle of my friends valium with dulcolax and I'm hoping they shit themselves so bad they'll regret doing what they did.
I'm off to buy a security camera for both of our bedrooms.
I feel so stuck because now this person knows we have goodies in the house, prescribed or things like pot and mushrooms. This is what scares me. I don't want to call the police because I'm afraid for my own self.
Ughhhhhhhhhhh. What would YOU do?
What should we do?!?!?!?!

The main suspect is now missing. The police ended up getting involved when another, young girl who lived alone came home to her apartment door open and she had a security camera.
He took family heirloom jewelry from her bedroom, the girl says $300 cash. We ended up coming forward when we went to talk about the wallet and told them what had happened to us.
There used to be three Hispanics men and now it's two and a new white guy.
Let's just say our rent has been significantly dropped every month for as long as we stay, if we decide to. We will be moving in a few months so we will just keep the cameras up and everything locked up.

You could just change the exterior door locks (have them rekeyed to different keys), then if management asks why the locks were changed, ask them how they knew and why they tried to get in without a 24hour notice.

Management is horrible. 3 women sitting in an office.
They also gave us all vouchers for free carpet cleaning.
Yes, because I'd like another person to enter to clean my fucking floor. I can do it myself haha
They want to do everything to prevent a lawsuit but the other two people have gotten the same lawyer and he called me and said he would represent all of us.
