Does anyone have a tek/advice for a beginner using poo? i'd really need to read up more on poo substrates and how they are prepared for a strain I am attempting to cultivate

There's plenty. Search pasteurizing manure/poo/horse poo

Also prepping poo, etc

neat thanks

I have been reading and it seems like cow and horse poo are most preferred. would cow/horse manure work as well or do I need to find fresh poo and dry it out myself?

Hpoo is preferred to cpoo.  Aged/composed better than fresh.

Probably the best all around sub but contams also love it.

Hpoo tek w/links

Aged sheep poo also works very well.
