VEEP, Silicon Valley and Rick and Morty I think are the 3 best comedies currently running, and once Arrested Development comes back in 2016 that'll be king.

Just heard about this series. It's written by Mike Judge, right?
If that's the case, then I'm sure I'll love it.

yeah, i would bet that Mike Judge is the head honcho. just from some info from wiki:
Quote:
created by Mike Judge, John Altschuler and Dave Krinsky.
Hes also the director of 70% of the episodes, a writer, and co-showrunner.

Fuckin great show. Been watching since Season 1 Episode 1.
Season 1 was perfect for the series. Season 2 has had some weird moments I think they should have passed on, but it didn't ruin the show for me or anything. For example, Peter Gabriele's replacement is like a exact copy of Peter, but a female version.
I haven't watched the last couple episodes though, so I'm gonna catch up tonight.

Great show, total hilarity. I was at a wedding this summer and was seated at a table with a guy who looked and acted just like ehrlich (he knew the show and was dismayed that i said he looked like him.)
I'm with meams - its the only show i watch.

this show is awesome. also been watching since the first episode
i think season 1 was a lot funnier but this season is just what needs to happen if they plan on making this shiw for at least a couple more seasons
season finale next sunday, id expect something good to happen after the last episode too
AND 2 episodes ago they played a Bassnectar track in it lol. so even more reasons to love this show. at red rocks as we were leaving i was talkin to some random kids about how one of his tracks is gonna be in teh next episode bc lorin tweeted about it. that was funny
then theres the big bang theory. both shows about nerds but big bang like makes fun of nerds for being nerds, thats like such face value bullshit. silicon valley is straight up just funny with real ass jokes (i fucking hate the fuck out of big bang theory lol)

I don't know about that. Peter Gabriel and his replacement are similar in that they are socially awkward, but Gabriel really knew what he was doing. This lady doesn't seem to have much of a clue.

I was talking more about mannerisms and the little details that made Peter Gabriele unique and original. It was all ripped off and slapped on to this female character, which I thought was kinda lame. But it's not ruining the show for me.
But, agreed, Peter was a weird bad ass who actually had some role. This new lady is just weird and dull, and a ripoff of Peter.
My point was, the replacement for Peter should have been a unique and original character like Peter was. Not just recreate his character through a female.
I caught up to speed last night, and Season 2 has gotten really good. Looking forward to the last 2 episodes.
