Trich or na?
    #21787851 - 06/10/15 11:01 AM (8 years, 7 months ago)

I have slightly blueish green hue on the edge of one of my monos, the myc around it seems more white than normal, i wiped it gently with a paper towel and nothing came off, just a couple drops of water.. its been starting to pin for a couple days now, but ive noticed the pins popping up mainly along the edges of my sub near the liner, i have slowly began to notice them pinning closer towards the middle, is that normal, and from what ive described does it sound like it could be trich.. maybe bruising? It smells "shroomy".. no off smells.. thanks.

Theres only 8 people viewing that forum and this is also about cultivation.. there is also a pinning question. No camera, even if i did take a picture with my phone its so shitty it wouldnt even help. Lol. Its very light green/blue.. also the whiter myc has been white for a week and a half, so thats why im confused, i feel like if it was trich it wouldve turned green and sporalated by now

If it's blue, that just means the sub is stressed out from dehydration and needs some water and tlc. If it's green, it's trich, and you need to get rid of that sub before it fucks your whole grow room.

Again though, this is better dealt with both with pics and on the contam forum. It doesn't matter how many people are on a forum, there are rules on this site and mods will move/remove your posts if they see fit.

OK well the best I can do is tell you a description then. Trich has a distinct powdery/Sandy look to it. If it was bruised (which I'm guessing it is, since it's pinning on the sides) it'd just look like blue mycelium. Bruising is most often because of lack of hydration. Needs a misting.

Pinning wise, it's normal. Never seen a tub from spores grow all evenly and uniform.

If it has been in fruiting and its been bright white for a week its not trich. It would have gone green by now.
