What do you think the chances are of me actually getting all my flushes in 20 days if I birth the cakes today? Or shall I just wait until I'm settled into the new place?

You'll get one flush for sure, maybe two.. If you are fruiting cakes though, there is nothing wrong with letting them consolidate for a month. It would probably benefit the grow anyway.

Well they usually do nothing for at least a week once they are introduced to fruiting so figure 10 days or so before you see knots. Then from there it's about another 7 days or so till you get fruits. So imo you will get 1 flush out of them

Well are the cakes fully colonized? Have they had at least a weeks timeat full conization to consolidate?
You can move your FC and birthed cakes even in the middle of fruiting if you are carefull

I wasn't going to birth until the upcoming Saturday, which means I probably should ACTUALLY birth until next Saturday.

You could also put them in the fridge to stall them, and then birth them at your new place.

Not going to lie, I'm already growing rather impatient with these cakes; I hope they produce a good amount for my wait.

Today is day 40; Live and learn. Going to attempt the pf tek next time.
Well, actually, I was thinking of inoculation this 1 pint moonshine jar tonight, if I have enough rice. I don't think I have enough left to fill the jar though honestly.

Assuming your spores were a bit slow to germinate....thats not too far outside of normal.
That is if you are ready for fruiting now. Its a little slow, but not by too much.

The 2nd jar I inoculated colonized far faster than the 1st one; Am waiting for it to finish colonizing before I birth them both. I'm sure the light cycles have something to do with it. I've been kind of neglecting their light cycles.

If you birth on saturday and WORK HARD to dial in your conditions perfectly (we will help of course) you will get a solid flush in 20 days barring any unforseen freak incidents. After that, Pack up your cakes and spawn them outdoors or dunk them during the move (with regular water changes.)
Waiting is definitely an option too but at 20 days consolidation I usually see mad pinning in the jar. But pinning in the jars is not a bad thing necessarily.

My setup is so bad right now, but you're right 20 days is a bit much.

Nah man, I've been low on funds since day one, so I've been playing around with different substrates.

I did a move recently with some pf tek jars and I just let them consolidate in the jar. I got some pinning, but I birthed them to a well prepared SFC and had my first flush in 4-days. Second flush came about 12-days after the overnight dunk.
